Hello World

So this is it. My entre into the universe of blogs. People have said blogging gives anyone with a keyboard a voice in the world. My motivations are less ambitious; I just want a place to put down all these thoughts swimming in my head. If it leads to engaging discussion or genuine change in this world, all the better. But right now, I feel like a little boy who climbed atop a high-rising cliff, unleashing into the wind, "Hello world! This is me." And the voice, with all its heart, sails into that mystical breeze, bobs and pauses, then vanishes into the sky.
